This Privacy Policy explains how 8-K Radar handles personal data.

Data We Collect

• Email address: used for alert subscriptions, notices, support, and

unsubscribe handling.

• Ticker watchlists: used to filter alerts and product usage.
• Usage logs: route names, timestamps, status codes, user agent strings, and

operational metadata.

• IP hash: a one-way hash used for abuse prevention, rate limiting, and

security review.

• Submitted content: ticker symbols and email alert settings.
• Optional plan-interest selection for Pro or Team.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe only if paid plans are enabled later; we do

not need full card numbers.

Purposes

We use data to provide the service, send requested alerts, prevent abuse, debug

errors, secure the product, process payments, maintain records, honor deletion

and unsubscribe requests, and understand aggregate product usage.

Processors

We may use Anthropic for AI classification and summaries, Resend for email,

Stripe for billing, and a hosting provider for application hosting.

Retention

Public filing records and generated filing pages may be retained indefinitely

because they point to public SEC records. Alert subscriber data is retained

until unsubscribe or deletion. Operational logs may be retained for security,

debugging, legal compliance, backup integrity, or abuse prevention.

User Rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, deletion, correction,

export, restriction, objection, or unsubscribe. We do not sell personal

information. To unsubscribe from email, use the unsubscribe link or contact

Cookies and Local Storage

We may use essential cookies or local storage for sessions, paid-access status,

rate limiting, abuse controls, and preferences.
